The other reviewers jolly much striking the spots that postulated hit.

The keyboard is a short loud, sure, simply apart from that it is simply nigh perfect. I’ve perpetually liked the old IBM clicky keyboards. Typing on this reminds me of those, which I conceive is awesome.

The touchpad was *kinda* weird, only I became applied to it speedily (have had the machine for most 2 weeks now). Another reviewer commented on the scrolling, R835-P56x and has a solution posted as well. After a couple hours of use, I have no trouble utilising the touchpad (have even played Portal 2 a turn with it).

The performance is amazing, the solely thing slowing it down is the difficult drive. I receive SSDs in my other machines, thence the difference is pretty apparent to me. I’ll choice up an SSD and construct this the perfect little laptop.

Battery life is equally advertised. I took it in to work one daytime and downloaded totally of Portal 2, OpenSUSE 11.4 ISO, and Office, entirely while doing normal browsing with max brightness. I continued to sting and install OpenSUSE, and the battery yet lasted roughly 6.5 hours. I was impressed.

The screen is definitely bright. I employed it in a auto with sunlight coming through the window with no issues. As most, I’d prefer a matte screen, just any glare on this is barely noticeable, I didn’t eve believe near it while using it in the sun. I simply4 refer it because I simply6 read a ThinkPad brushup that had me thinking virtually it.

I remarked above that I played Portal 2 on it, yup! Works ameliorate than I expected, the sandy bridge i5 is a beast!
