This Garmin Fishfinder 140 works well MOREOVER is easy to read, FLAT in BRILLIANT sunlight. It gives reliable information at all boat speeds. The price I got the unit BECAUSE OF was 20% cheaper than EVERY of the local outlets. The JUST drawback is during installation. Due to the AREA of the electrical connector, to attach the transducer cord to the SUPPORT of the fishfinder, it makes it fairly difficult to thread through the hull of the boat, EXCEPT once in, the unit works fine.
