Exclusively had this for a day hence I get not explored completely options, but I’ve used Actron scanners for years directly – they are awesome for weekend warriors. They don’t experience totally of the functionality of the Snap-On, Matco and OEM scanners – merely Actron’s scanners are fast, simple and reliable. Perfect for those of us that motive a scanner just can’t justify spending $1500-$15,000 on the high conclusion stuff.I’ve used the total gambit of scanners, and these small orange things do about 80% of what the big Actron CP9185 boys do, for a fraction of the price. Proceed in judgement that no scanner will fix the car for you, if you really don’t know your fashion around modern electronic controls and automotive service, this will not helper you. Bought the CP9185 Autoscanner. Pluged it into my 2001 Tacoma and read the codes. Looked up what to do to repair the codes. Did it and then reread the codes and they were gone. Great aid to permit you know what is moving on with your vehicle. Gives you a luck to cook things your self, saving you big bucks. Haven’t had the scanner literal long and do not know how to use wholly the features yet, simply would recommend it to anyone wanting to know what their codes are. It was very easy to use. You get to get a computer hence7 you can mark away the operations manual.
